PoolWeather is a small, independent app for pool people — built by one pool owner who just wanted a straight answer to a simple question: is today a swim day?
I'm Jamison Hiner. I have a pool, and like a lot of owners I was tired of juggling a weather app, a chemistry chart, a maintenance calendar, and a group text every time we wanted to throw a party. None of them talked to each other, and none of them answered the only question my kids actually ask: "can we swim today?"
So I built the thing I wanted. PoolWeather takes a hyperlocal forecast and turns it into one honest swim score — right now and for the next seven days — then keeps the rest of the pool dialed in: a chemistry log that reads your test strip, maintenance reminders, storm alerts, and a party planner that picks the dry Saturdays.
It's made by one person, it's free for pool owners, and it gets better every week. If you have an idea, a bug, or just want to say hi, I'd genuinely love to hear it.
